Which sub-clan, and from which district?

Bhatti, Chauhan, Janjua, Minhas and others carry their own associations, and families frequently have views about specific pairings.

Is the preference strict?

Some families will consider adjacent biradaris, others will not. Establishing this in the first exchange prevents a long and pointless courtship.

Where is the family originally from?
